In the beginning of 2010. New Years resolutions are still actual. We are willing to learn, to improve our skills and abilities. Mostly does it mean that we have to read a lot. May be you have made another experience, but I’m surrounded by books, newsletters and a lot of different information material. Luckily I learned years ago how to Read Fast, so I’m able to minimize my time for reading.
Sometimes I’m doing some language teaching in enterprises and it is quite astonishing to see my ‘students’ (manager, executive employee …) reading slowly and sometimes with help of the finger. This means, that you lose a lot of time and shifts your focus away from the actual meaning of the text.
Improving the reading abilities and at the same time the language/text comprehension will be a great advantage.
